Teaching How to install Google Chrome on OEL

  • As root, run the following command:

cat << EOF > /etc/yum.repos.d/google-chrome.repo

[google-chrome]

name=google-chrome – \$basearch

baseurl=http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/rpm/stable/\$basearch

enabled=1

gpgcheck=1

EOF

  • As root run yum update –y
  • Run: yum install redhat-lsb
  • Run: yum install libstdc++
  • Run: yum install google-chrome-stable
